Our story
My name is Jeneen McFarlane, and I am proudly from the beautiful island of St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands. My passion for baking began during my college years in 2001, when I started baking to help cover my expenses. I was inspired and taught by my great-great-grandmother, Ingaberg Hendricks, who served as a pastry chef at Government House for many years. Even in her later years, her talent and passion for baking remained unmatched.
Baking has always been a source of joy and relaxation for me. In 2014, I had the opportunity to bake pineapple upside-down cakes for a pizza restaurant in Maryland. While those cakes were simple in design, they marked an important step in my journey. Recently, I decided to return to baking with a renewed focus on refining my craft and mastering more intricate and technical designs.
This is the perfect time to place an order as I continue to grow and elevate my skills offering you high-quality creations at competitive pricing. I invite you to be part of this journey; I am confident you will not be disappointed. What truly sets my baking apart is the infusion of my island culture into every creation, along with options for diabetic-friendly cakes made with sugar substitutes that never compromise on taste.
Event Planning
My event planning journey also began in 2001 during my college years, when I served as an event planning coordinator for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Since then, I received my certification in Event Planning and have worked as an independent contractor, specializing in corporate events, day-of coordination, private parties, and a variety of special occasions.
Bringing a client's vision to life is both an honor and a privilege. Every client is treated like family, and I pride myself on delivering a true white-glove service.
